PRIMARY SCHOOL - Creative Ballet 1 and 2
(Ages 3 to approximately 6 years)

This introduction to dance program is designed to develop the motor skills of the 3 to 6 year old child through the basics of classical ballet and creative movement. The aim is to develop co-ordination, posture, technique, discipline and musicality while encouraging the joy of dance through imagination, self-expression and fun. Fundamentals and terminology of traditional classical ballet and work from the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus are introduced appropriately.
Students must be able to participate in class without parental aid as this fosters their sense of independence and autonomy. Classes are 45 minutes once a week.
