Adult Ballet

ADULT BALLET classes offer the opportunity to enjoy all the benefits of classical ballet, developing musicality, increasing physical fitness and confidence through the enjoyment of dance. Attention is paid to proper and safe technique.
Two levels of adult ballet are currently available.

ADULT JAZZ for the Pre-Intermediate student. This class will develop coordination, flexibility and strength through a thorough warm-up and centre work. A combination of modern and jazz styles will be learned.
A fun way to exercise!

In all classes adults are encouraged to work at their own level, within their capabilities, maintaining an awareness of any physical limitations.
Students may register for classes or attend on a drop-in basis.

BODY CONDITIONING
Stretch and strengthen - not just for dancers! Core strengthening, all over body work. Increase flexibility. Minimum age 12 years. Maximum - none! Drop-in or register for the 12 week session.

Fall 2011 Adult Dance Schedule

Classes commence the week of September 12th

Adult One Ballet (Beginner) ~ Tuesdays 8:30 - 9:45 pm
Adult Two Ballet (Intermediate) ~ Tuesdays 12 noon - 1:00 pm
Adult Two Ballet (Intermediate) ~ Fridays 8:15 - 9:30 pm
Adult Jazz (Pre-Intermediate) ~ Thursdays 8:45 - 10:00 pm
Body Conditioning ~ Saturdays 12:30-1:30 pm. Fall session ~ Sept 24th-Dec 10th
